Project Package is a non-profit, volunteer organization that sends a monthly care package to our local mid-south service members. It is our way of letting them know we have not forgotten them and how much we appreciate them.

I don't know how to thank you for the package I received from Project Package. For people that don't know what a package means to a soldier I will try to explain. When a soldier gets a package regardless of who it is from, it's almost like Christmas in a sense. It makes the soldier feel happy, boosts morale and just for a few minutes makes him or her kinda forget the situation they're in at that time. It's a good feeling to have when we are in a place like this (which is few and far between) and far from home. It helps with the stress that these soldiers have to deal with on a day to day basis. Maybe that will let the people who do these kinda things for soldiers understand a little of what they give them, other than supplies.
I greatly thank you and all the people who help with this organization. I really think there should be more projects like yours.
